| A b o u t U s Our Company TranscenDance DJ Entertainment is a small three-system mobile DJ entertainment company. Our small size allows us to be fully involved in every aspect of your event; from the planning of your special night to the playing of music. Having three full mobile music systems allows us to be flexible, and always have a back up either on site, or minutes away. Our Beginnings Formed in the winter of 1995, TranscenDance DJ Entertainment combined the equipment and talents of Jerry Cook and Mark Jackson, two independent disc jockeys serving the Chicago Metropolitan and Champaign-Urbana areas. This new alliance has proved beneficial for both Jerry and Mark, as well as their clients, because they can now share equipment, overhead and marketing costs, and pass these savings on to the consumer. Mark and Jerry enjoy music, inspiring others to have a great time, and making their clients happy by delivering exceptional client service. While Mark has gone on to other endeavors, Jerry has continued to grow TranscenDance DJ Entertainment into one of Chicagoland's fastest growing mobile entertainment companies. Our Mission In order to make your next special occasion stress-free and memorable, our mission is to deliver a diverse array of fully customized, high-quality musical entertainment options with individualized, impeccable client service and attention to detail. It is an unwavering belief of TranscenDance that professional disc jockey performances should be available to everyone, regardless of their budget. With that idea in mind, our company was conceived to deliver exceptional performances at reasonable prices, whatever the occasion. The Owner Jerry Cook Jerry began his career disc jockeying for school dances, community events, and private parties. Jerry graduated from Illinois State University in 1995, where he was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He received his Masters in Education in 2003, where he graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University. He is married, living with his wife, Jennifer, and two children in the western suburbs. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and listening to the newest hit music both live and in area night clubs. |
